LUX Fund Technology and Solutions Hires CTO, Creates CIO Role

LUX Fund Technology and Solutions (LUX FTS) announced today the hire of Christopher Bloechle as chief technology officer as well as the promotion of founding partner, Mark Christine, to chief innovation officer.

Bloechle has 20 years of experience designing, developing and delivering technology for financial services. Prior to joining LUX FTS, he was the director of front office IT, where his solutions were used daily by 100 portfolio managers and their investment teams.

“We are delighted to welcome Chris as he brings his expertise having worked at one of the largest global hedge funds,” said Nik Takmopoulos, CEO and founding partner of LUX FTS, in a statement. “Chris’ institutional knowledge will help the company to better serve larger funds as well as allow us to scale the Transcend platform for increased complexity and our growing client base.”

With Bloechle as CTO, Mark Christine will transition into the newly created position of chief innovation officer.

“In my new role, I will focus on building out our R&D department which will deliver innovative new products and features to be deployed across the Transcend platform,” Christine commented in a statement.

Founded in 2012, LUX Fund Technology and Solutions deploys business technology systems for the alternative asset management industry. LUX FTS has offices in New York and San Francisco.
